A defining feature of ‘Heritage as Placemaking: The Politics of Solidarity and Erasure in South Asia’ is its international, collaborative structure. The research and administration of the project is distributed across four institutions in South Asia and in Europe: Social Science Baha in Kathmandu (Nepal), Colombo Institute (Sri Lanka), SOAS University of London (UK), and the Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies (Germany). 
From October 2021 until September 2024, South Asian University in Delhi served as an institutional partner.
