Open Access Publishing
FID4SA supports open access as a publishing model for the dissemination and advancement of knowledge and learning. We publish both "Gold" open access, i.e. publications are immediately available and "Green" open access, i.e. publications are available after an embargo period. The publications are archived with standardised addresses (URN, DOI) and metadata in a permanent and citable manner. They can be searched worldwide in various library catalogues and search engines.
The following options for publishing are available to Asian studies scholars:
-
Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing (HASP) publishes monographs, edited volumes, series and journals as open-access publications. All published monographs are assigned an ISBN number and DOI for permanent referencing. In addition to digital publication formats, a print-on-demand edition can also be realised. Journals and publication series are assigned an ISSN number and are thus clearly identifiable.
- FID4SA-Repository facilitates the publication of scholarly articles, theses and dissertations. It is also possible to publish preprint versions of academic publications. All publications receive a DOI for permanent referencing.
Within the framework of these publication models you also have the option of archiving your research data.
ORCID iD
Please use your ORCID iD in your academic activities – especially when contacting publishers, when contacting funding institutions, at congresses, on lecture slides, on your website and in the footer of your mails. If possible, also deposit your ORCID iD when posting on scholarly mailing lists and message boards.
