The FID4SA supports Open Access as a publishing model for the dissemination and advancement of knowledge and learning. We publish both academic monographs, edited volumes and journals according to both the gold OA model, i.e. books are available in OA immediately, and the green OA model, i.e. the OA additional publication of a printed work (self-archiving).
The following publication options are available for scholars in Asian Studies:
Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing (HASP) publishes monographs, edited volumes, series and journals as Open Access publications. All monographic publications are assigned an ISBN number and DOI for permanent reference. In addition to the digital publication formats, a print-on-demand edition can also be realized. Journals and publication series are given an ISSN number and are thus clearly identifiable.
- FID4SA-Repository is designed for the publication of theses, dissertations and, above all, articles. It is also possible to publish preprint versions of an academic publication. All publications receive a DOI for permanent referencing.
Within the framework of these publication models you also have the option of archiving your research data.
Please use your ORCID iD for all your academic activities – especially when you are contacting publishers, funding institutions, at conventions, on presentation slides, on your website, in the footer of your e-mails and if possible, record your ORCID iD on the internet and in research forums.
